Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how New Era International FZCO ("New Era International Consulting", "we", "us") processes personal data when you visit this website or book a consultation. It is written to comply with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the "GDPR") and, for individuals located in Italy, with the Italian Personal Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree No. 196/2003, as amended by Legislative Decree No. 101/2018).
1Data controller
The data controller is:
New Era International FZCO IFZA Business Park, Building A2 — Dubai Silicon Oasis, Industrial Area — Dubai, United Arab Emirates Business Licence No. 23224 Email: andrea@newerainternationalconsulting.com · Phone: +971 54 459 6241
We are established outside the European Union. Because this website is also directed at, and used to offer services to, individuals in Italy and the European Union, we apply the GDPR to the personal data of those individuals to the extent required by Article 3(2) GDPR, in addition to the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
2What data we collect
- Booking data — if you use the booking calendar on our Contact page, your name, email address and selected time slot are collected by our scheduling provider, GoHighLevel / LeadConnector, on our behalf. The booking widget only loads after you give cookie consent — see our Cookie Policy.
- Direct enquiries — if you email or call us directly, we process the contact details and content of that communication to reply to you.
- Technical data — standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure to keep the site secure and working correctly.
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any analytics or advertising cookies on this website. If that changes, this policy and our Cookie Policy will be updated before any such technology is activated.
3Why we process your data and our legal basis
- Responding to your enquiry and arranging a consultation — necessary to take steps at your request prior to a possible engagement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Booking a call through our scheduling provider — based on your consent to the related third-party cookies (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), withdrawable at any time.
- Keeping the website secure and functioning — our legitimate interest in operating a safe and reliable service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), balanced against your rights.
- Compliance with legal obligations — for example accounting or tax records if a paid engagement follows (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers acting as processors on our behalf, under confidentiality and data protection terms, namely: our website hosting provider, and GoHighLevel / LeadConnector for scheduling and lead management. These providers may process data on servers located outside the European Economic Area and the United Arab Emirates. Where that is the case, we rely on the safeguards made available by the provider (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect the transfer; you can request more detail by contacting us as set out below.
5How long we keep it
Enquiry and booking data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and, if no engagement follows, for up to 24 months from our last contact, after which it is deleted or anonymised. If a paid engagement is agreed, data related to that contract is kept for the duration of the relationship plus any period required by applicable accounting, tax or commercial law.
6Your rights
Under the GDPR, and where applicable the Italian Personal Data Protection Code, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and obtain a copy of it;
- request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten"), where applicable;
- request restriction of, or object to, the processing of your data, including for direct marketing at any time and free of charge;
- request data portability, where technically feasible;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal;
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for individuals in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or the competent authority in your EU country of residence.
7Security
This website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures — including access controls and limiting data access to personnel who need it — to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
8Exercising your rights / contact us
To exercise any of the rights above, or for any question about this policy, email andrea@newerainternationalconsulting.com. We may ask for information to verify your identity before acting on your request, and we will respond within one month as required by Article 12(3) GDPR.
9Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The current version always applies; material changes will be reflected by updating the date below.
